BARCLAY, Mrs. J. E., Beeville Bee, 21 July 1899:

Died Saturday morning, July 15, 1899 at 5 o’clock, Mrs. J. E. Barclay, wife of 
M. E. Barclay, deceased.  Mrs. Barclay had been a patient sufferer for many 
months at the home of her father, Mr. W. F. Rape.  

The interment was in the Beeville Cemetery at 4 PM.  Mrs. Barclay leaves one child, 
a daughter about 4 years of age.
