CARROLL, John, Beeville Bee, 10 Aug 1900:

John Carroll, an old resident of the county and son of one of the earliest settlers, 
died at the home of his brother’s widow, Mrs. William Carroll in this city Saturday.  

The deceased was unmarried and in his 62nd year.  He had been an invalid for years 
and was taken care of by his brother’s family.  

The funeral took place from the Catholic Church Sunday morning.
