ELLIS, Walter, Beeville Bee, 10 Feb 1899:

Assessor Paul Baxter received a telegram Monday announcing the death of 
his brother-in-law, Walter Ellis, at San Angelo on the 2nd.  The deceased 
was well known to the older residents of Beeville, having been reared here.  

He was the 2nd son of Mr. F. M. Ellis, who was for many years owner of 
what is now known as the Lindell Hotel.  

He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his death.
