FOX, Daniel, Beeville Bee, 2 Nov 1894:

Refugio, Texas, Oct. 25, 1894.  Died at his residence in this city, Oct. 24, 
Daniel Fox, aged 73 years, 7 months.  He was born in Tiperary, Ireland and 
settled in Refugio County in 1838 and had resided here from that time until 
his death.  

He always took an active life interest in anything that concerned the welfare of 
this county, and was a lifelong democrat and was chairman of the Democratic 
Executive committee of this County at the time of his death.  

He leaves a wife and 8 children, all grown, and a host of friends to mourn him.
