HELDENFELS, Hugo, Beeville Bee, 27 Oct 1893:

Hugo, the 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Heldenfels of Beeville, died Saturday, the 21st inst. 
Of a sore throat of the day previously, suddenly developed into membranous croup.
