HIGGINBOTHAN, W. H., Beeville Bee, 25 Aug 1899:

W. H. Higginbothan, a well known resident of Beeville, died Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock, 
after a long and painful illness.  The funeral took place at 6 o’clock on Monday.  

The deceased was 38 years old and unmarried, leaving several sisters and brothers to 
mourn him.
