KENEDY, Mrs. A. G., Beeville Bee, 9 Aug 1912, pg 4: Death of Mrs. A. G. Kenedy. The sad news of the death of Mrs. A. G. Kenedy, which occurred in Houston Monday night, reached Beeville Tuesday where she once resided and has a number of relatives and friends. Her death was unexpected and came as a shock to all her old friends and neighbors who had the pleasure of renewing an acquaintance of years gone by during her recent visit to this city as the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Frances Dougherty. She was a daughter of Major John H. WOOD, of St Mary's, a veteran of the war of independence who until a few years ago had made his home in Beeville for many years. She is survived by her husband, 3 sons, and 2 daughters, all of whom are grown. Besides these she leaves a number of brothers and sisters, including R. H. Wood of Rockport, T. D. Wood of Victoria, J. C. Wood of Beeville and Mesdames E. C. Carroll, and Peter Mahon of Victoria and W. H. George of Beeville. The funeral took place in Victoria yesterday.
