McMURRY, James, Beeville Bee, 18 Jan 1901:

James McMurry, an old citizen of this section died at his home at Lapara, late 
Saturday night, the 12th.  

The deceased was a native of Ireland and in his 75th year, first settling near San Patricio 
in the early 40’s.  

He is a half brother of W. J. McMurry of this city and the father of Henry and Raymond 
McMurry and Mrs. John Pugh of Live Oak County.
