O'CALLAHAN, Thomas H., Beeville Bee, 4 Dec 1896: Explanatory. The Bee has received the following anonymous communication of the Hon. Thomas H. O'Callahan. A notice of whose death appeared in the Bee last Friday, he has been dead sometime. A notice of his death appeared in a New York paper sometime in October. The immediate cause of his death was congestion of the brain and heart trouble. He was confined to his bed only eleven days. His family (who, the writer believes, resides at or near Beeville) were notified of his illness and of his death, he received the best medical attention and the last rites of his church. He was, the writer believes, about 69 years of age. He practiced in the supreme courts for many years. He has many friends in southwest Texas and Galveston to mourn him.
