BANKHEAD, Ed, Beeville Bee, Friday, 7 Dec 1906:

Ed. BANKHEAD, aged about 45, and indigent, was brought in Saturday from the Experimental Farm, where 
he had been in a very sick condition for several days, and placed in the courthouse, where he died during 
the night. He lived here some twelve or fifteen years ago, and is understood to have separated from his family 
since leaving here. He was buried Sunday at the expense of the county.
