BENNETT, Robert, Beeville Bee, Friday, 30 Oct 1903: Robert BENNETT, the DeWitt county ranchman, who died at his home ten miles from Cuero Monday, from yellow fever contracted from a visitor from Mexico, is well known in Beeville. During the winter of '96 he sojourned at Skidmore with a herd of cattle in which he was interested. His father was one of the pioneer settlers of DeWitt Camty.
