BRAUER, Carl Max, Beeville Bee, Friday, 3 Feb 1905: After nearly a week after a parayltic stroke, Carl Max BRAUER breathed his last at his home on St. Mary's street Monday. The deceased was a native of Germany and came to America in the 70's settling first at Corpus Christi and in Beeville in 1888. He conduced a mercantile business, fruit growing and apiaculture in a small way. For may years he was a member of the school board. He is survived by a wife and four children. The funeral took place yesterday under the auspices of the Woodmen of the World, religious services conducted at the home by Rev. H. R. Laird.
