BREEDING John Davis, Beeville Bee, Friday, 2 Nov 1906: John Davis BREEDING, second son of C. P. Breeding, a well-known and highly esteemed young man, was called to his final reward last Friday night, after a painful illness of several weeks. The news of his death, while not altogether unexpected, came as a shock to his many friends, for they had hoped that he would overcome his illness. He was in his 36th year and a native of Fayette county, from there moving with his parents when a child to Bell County, where he grew to manhood. In 1892 when the family moved to Bee County he became a resident here and for six years has been a trusted employee of a local lumber firm. He was an active member of the Methodist Church with which he had been connected since his fifteenth year and took a deep interest in both the Masonic order. He is survived by a father and brother W. A. Breeding of Temple. At his request his remains were taken to Temple for interment.
