CARROLL, William, Beeville Bee, Friday, 17 Apr 1903:

William CARROLL found dead by a self-inflicting 38-caliber pistol ball piercing his heart. 

The funeral was held Wednesday at the new Protestant cemetery. He was a native of this 
county and a son of the late William CARROLL, descendant of MeGLOIN colonist. He was 
four months past his twenty-second birthday and had graduated at age 17 from Beeville 
High School. He had been employed two years with the Pacific Railroad.
