CLARKSON, R. C., Beeville Bee, 16 Aug 1901:

The news reached here Wednesday morning of the death of Mr. R. C. Clarkson, recently of this 
place but who has been in Houston for the past few months. Mr. Clarkson was raised in Refugio 
and besides a wife, two children and a brother are left to mourn his death. 

His remains came in this morning from Goliad and was interred in the Catholic Cemetery this 
evening at 5 o'clock .
