CONWELL, C. H., Beeville Bee or Picayune, Friday, 1 Nov 1912: Receives News of Father's Death Mrs. David L. Beckham, received the sad intelligence of the death of her father, C. H. CONWLLL, a well-known contractor, a resident of Goliad. He died in Houston at the Baptist Sanitarium where he had been some time for treatment of a fractured limb. It was about two months ago, while following his trade in Goliad, that a wall collapsed falling on him, fracturing his leg. His death was the results of complications from the injury. His demise was sudden, his daughter here having had encouraging news from him only a few days before the arrival of the telegram bearing to her the awful shock. She left yesterday morning from Goliad where the funeral was held yesterday afternoon. The deceased was a resident of Goliad for over twenty years a nd well and favorably known in Beeville.
