Mrs. E. E. COURTNEY, wife of Mr. G. W. COURTNEY, died at the family residence in this city 
last Saturday morning, the funeral taking place Sunday afternoon. The service was conducted 
by Rev. D. R. HARDISON of the Christian Church of which the deceased was a member. 

The deceased was in the 64th year of age and had been a resident of the county for the past ten 
years, having moved here with her husband from San Antonio. Besides her husband, she is 
survived by several children.
