DAY, Mrs. Flora F., Beeville Bee, Friday, 15 May 1903: After twenty-six years of invalidism, in which she bore her affliction with a sublime Christian fortitude, all that was mortal of Mrs. Flora F. DAY was interred in the Beeville cemetery on last Thursday, the 7th. Her death occurred at an early hour Wednesday and she passed peacefully away, the transition being as gentle as if falling asleep. The deceased was 57 years of age and a native of Alabama, from which state she moved to Grimes County with her parents at an early age, where in 1869 she married to J. H. DAY, who died in 1882. Shortly after her husband's death Mrs. Day removed with her children to Bee County where she has since resided. She leaves two children, J. S. DAY of Beeville and Mrs. E. I. KELLY of Douglas, Arizona. She also leaves several sisters in different parts of the state and two brothers, Revs. G. H. M. WILSON of Midland, Texas and D. A. WILSON of Cuba, both prominent ministers of the Baptist church.
