DUGAT, Wilbue M., Beeville Bee or Picayune, Thursday, 5 Feb 1914: Wilbur M. Dugat, aged 67 years, died at his home in Skidmore Saturday at 10:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness, pneumonia being the cause of death. The remains were laid to rest in the Corrigan Cemetery on the Aransas Sunday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Many from Beeville and Skidmore attended. Mr. Dugat was a native of Liberty county but had long been a resident of Southwest Texas, having several years ago been a resident of Beeville. He is survived by a widow, the former Miss Emma Duncan, of Liberty County, seven children, two brothers and one sister. The children are Mrs. Chas. Brashear, Mrs. Lelia Langley and Ed Dugat, all of Sinton, Mrs. Kate McNeill of Robstown, Mrs. Julia Best of Pettus and Miss Wilbur and Emery Dugat of Skidmore. The brothers are Wesley of this city and Joe of Liberty County. The sister is Mrs. J. 1. Stocking of Santa Maria. Until recently Mr. Dugat and family have resided at Sinton, having moved to Skidmore and Bee County only a short while ago. Mrs. Dugat also has been ill with pneumonia but is improving now, we are pleased to state.
