EIDSON, Fannie Loulue, Thursday, 19 Sep 1918: Infant of Lieutenant and Mrs. Eldon Eidson, Dead Grief had come into the hearts of Lieutenant and Mrs. Eldon Boyce Eidson, with the death of their six month old daughter, Fannie Loulue, which occurred on September 16th at Denning New Mexico where Mrs. Eidson is with her parents. During the illness of his daughter — their only child — Lieutenant Eidson was unable to be with his wife. He was stationed at Atlanta, Georgia where he has just recently received his commission. Lieutenant Eidson is now en route to Frances, having been ordered there recently. In fact, he was on the water before his baby girl passed away and does not yet know she is dead. Mrs. Eidson has never been to Beeville, Lieutenant Eidson having been born in Beeville. His parents are Crawford P. and Fanny Eidson. Lieutenant Eidson and his young wife were married while stationed on the Mexico border but the young officer has plenty of friends here whose sympathy is extended to him and his young wife.
