FAHR, Alban, Beeville Bee, Friday, 19 Jun 1903: Mr. Alban FAHR, a popular German citizen, died at an early hour Tuesday morning at his home in the eastern part of the city. His demise was quite unexpected to his many friends as he had been indisposed only a few days. The deceased was a native of Saxony and was in the fifty-sixth year of his age. In 1872 he emigrated from Germany and settled in Frelbury, Colorado county where he married and lived for many years. His residence in Beeville dates from 1898. He was a man of quiet and unobtrusive disposition and generally liked by all that knew him. The funeral occurred on Wednesday under the direction of the Sons of Herman, of which he was an earnest and faithful member, the religious being conducted by Rev. Selfridge of the Presbyterian Church. A wife and ten children survive him.
