FORE, Mrs. Bettie, Beeville Bee, Friday, 1 Nov 1901:

The news of the death of Mrs. Bettie FORE, which occurred yesterday morning, was a shock to 
many of her friends in this place, some of whom were not aware of her presence here and much 
less of her illness. It seems that she returned here to live about three weeks ago and was taken ill 
shortly after her arrival, and gradually grew worse until death put an end to her suffering yesterday 
Oct. 31, 1901.

She had been for the past two years making her home with her daughter in Yoakum and much against 
latter's wishes returned to Beeville hoping the change would benefit her health. Her death came as a 
shock to her many old friends here who hold her in high esteem as a kind hearted Christian woman. 

She leaves two daughters and three sons to mourn the loss of a parent. 

The funeral will take place this morning at 9:30 o'clock from the family residence; the interment will take 
place in the old cemetery.
