Mr. Garner has long been a prominent citizen of the Cadiz Community and was well known throughout the county. Our Cadiz correspondent will no doubt furnish Picayune readers with a suitable notice of his death next week. Friday, April 5, 1912 Cadiz. C. N. GARNER passed away at his home last Thursday morning. All was done for him that possibly could be by loving children and kind friends to alleviate his suffering, but all to no purpose. He leaves seven children to mourn his loss. He was a kind and indulgent father, a good neighbor and citizen. The remains were laid to rest in the Lebanon cemetery beside his wife and infant daughter who preceded him to the great beyond some years ago. The children and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of a large circle of friends.
