HALE, Dolph, Beeville Bee, 19 Feb 1904:

Mr. Dolph HALE, a well-known farmer residing in the vicinity of Mineral City, died 
last Saturday night Feb. 13th, after a short illness. 

The deceased was sixty-three years old and had lived in this county and counties 
adjoining since the civil war, in which he participated and did a gallant service. 

A wife and several children survive him. Interment took place at the cemetery near 
town on Sunday. Rev. Barnes conducted the funeral services.
