HARWOOD, John H., Beeville Bee, Friday, 14 Nov 1902:

John H. HARWOOD, a veteran of the civil war, died at the home of his son-in-law, 
J. T. HOLLIDAY, in this city at an early hour Monday AM. 

The deceased was a native of Tennessee and was 12 days past his 74th year of age.

A wife and four children survive him. His oldest, W. H. HARWOOD, living in Arizona, 
C. H. HARWOOD in Houston and Bert HARWOOD and Mrs. J. T. HOLLIDAY being 
residents of this place. 

For the past thirty years Mr. Harwood has been an early member of the Baptist 
Church. His interment took place in the old cemetery.
