HARWOOD, Mrs. Nina, Beeville Bee, Friday, 10 Jul 1903: Mrs. Nina HARWOOD, mother of Mrs. T. J. HOLLIDAY, died at the latte?s residence in this city on Thursday the 2ndd, inst., after an illness of several months. The deceased lacked but a few weeks of being sixty-seven years of age, having been born in Tennessee August 16, 1834. When 18 years of age she came to Texas with her parents and settled in DeWitt county, where in 1859 she was united in marriage to J. H. Harwood, whose death occurred on the 10th of November last. Mrs. Harwood has been a resident of Bee County since 1890, having moved here in that year with her husband, making their home with their daughter and son-in-law. The parents are survived by four children, Messrs., Albert and William Harwood, living in Arizona, C. H. Harwood of Goliad County, and Mrs. T. J. HOLLIDAY in Beeville. The funeral occurred on Friday evening, interment taking place in the old cemetery beside her husband whom so shortly before preceded her in the grave. Religious services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Sallee of the Baptist church of which she had been a faithful member since childhood.
