Death of Horace Hayes.  In the death of his eldest son last Saturday night, Judge W. R. Hayes 
has the deepest sympathy of the entire county.  It is indeed sad to see so promising a youth 
cut down so young.  Deceased was in the 22nd year of his age and has been suffering several 
weeks from pneumonia and lagrippe, the cause of death.  The funeral took place on Sunday, the 
remains being interred in the neighborhood cemetery near Skidmore.
