Jacob Clapp "Jake" HOLDERMAN, who had been suffering for many months with cancer, died at 
his home on the Frio, Wednesday morning the 22nd of April and was interred in the Oakville Cemetery 
Thursday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at the Church and also at the gravesite by 
G. H. M. Wilson.

Mr. Holderman was born August 27th 1848 in Knox County, Illinois, the son of Jacob Holderman and 
Mercy Carolina Loveland. He married Rebecca Childers in Live Oak County on February 17, 1880.

Mr. Holderman was one of Live Oaks oldest and highly respected citizens.
