HUBLE are Said In Church Here Saturday Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Huble, 78, former resident of the Olmos community, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rev. Raymond Stocker, pastor, officiated. Interment was in Glenwood cemetery. The pallbearers were Sam Bell, Edward Huble, Gilbert Halbert, Johnny Huble, Adolph Sembera and Emil Frieda. Funeral arrangements were made by Galloway Mortuary. Mrs. Huble died Friday morning at 7 o'clock at the home of a son in Houston. She had been ill about one year. Caroline Frieda was born in Germany on May 26, 1870. She was a daughter of Joe and Caroline Frieda, both of whom are deceased. She was married to Jacob Huble in Lavaca County, Texas. Mr. Huble preceded her death, and for the last five years she has made her home in Houston with her sons. Mrs. Huble had resided in the Olmos community from 1905 until 1924. She had been a member of the Catholic Church all her life. Mrs. Huble is survived by eight sons, Herman, August, Richard, and Fritz Huble of Houston, Ed Huble of Olmos, William Huble of Pleasanton, Frank Huble of Floresville, and Robert Huble of Odessa; six daughters, Misses Louise, Lena and Ella Huble of California, Mrs. Alma Rogers of Beeville, Mrs. Betty Busch of Houston and Mrs. Rosie Wiser of Dallas; two brothers, Willie Frieda of Houston and Jim Frieda of Floresville; a sister, Mrs. Tack Houlihan of Houston; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
