Sam JACK, aged 65 years, died here this afternoon at the home of his brother-in-law, 
J. S. CALLICUT, after a long illness. Deceased was formerly a resident of Blooming 
Grove but for some years and until five years ago, lived in S. W. Texas.

Five children, some of them grown, but none of them reside here, survive him. Also three 
sisters and a brother, Mrs. J. C. CALLICUT, Mrs. S. M. RANSOM, Mrs. A. C. CHRISTIAN of 
Corpus Christi and W. H. JACK, of the Corsicana bar. 

The funeral will be conducted tomorrow morning at 10:30 from the resident of J. S. CALLICUT.

Mr. Jack was for years the Justice of the Peace, Precinct No. 1 in Bee County and had many 
friends here who will regret to learn of his death.
