KOHLER, mother of V., Beeville Bee, Friday, 12 Feb 1904: 

V. KOHLER received last week the sad intelligence of the death of his aged mother whose 
demise occurred in Copenhagen, Denmark on January 23, 1904 at the advanced age of ninety. 

Mr. Kohler is the eldest of three sons surviving. Originally a German family, for the past 
century Danish, its members occupy a prominent position in the communities in which they reside. 

The late Vilh KOHLER was among the wealthiest and most influential residents of the Danish capital. 
In evidence that "blood will tell" is exemplified in our own Kohler who has risen from a small beginning 
to a prominent position among the industrial works of his adopted country.
