KOONCE, Mrs. John, Beeville Bee, Friday, 12 Nov 1903:

The remains of Mrs. John KOONCE, who died at Mathis on Monday, was transferred here Tuesday 
morning en route for interment in the cemetery at Berclair, her old home. 

The deceased was in the fifty-fifth year of her age and leaves a husband and eight children to 
mourn her death. 

She was a sister of Messrs. J. K. and J. H. NEW, well-known residents of Beeville.
