KOONCE, Robert H., Beeville Bee, Friday 18 Jul 1902:

Robert H. KOONCE, father-in-law of J. K. NEW, died at the home of the latter, 
Thursday and was buried in the old cemetery Friday. The deceased had been 
a resident of Beeville for about two years, was a member of Baptist Church 
and was in the 69th year of his age. His health had been failing for some time 
and his death was not unexpected.
