LEAHY, Mrs. Johnana Elizabeth, Friday, 27 Mar 1908:

Mrs. Johnana Elizabeth LEAHY, wife of M. Leahy died at the family residence in northeast Beeville 
Monday morning March 23rd, at 6 am, after a sickness extending over a month, and was buried 
Tuesday morning from the Catholic church at 10 o'clock, the remains being followed to their last 
resting place by a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives. 

Mrs. Leahy was born, raised and lived her entire life a Bee Countian, being the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. 
John and Elizabeth FADDEN and was born at the old family homestead down on the Aransas ten miles 
below Beeville. At the time of her death she was 38 years, 6 months and 27 days old and leaves her 
husband and five children to mourn her death, besides other relatives, among the number being a 
brother Pat, who lives here.
