LUTTS, Ola Esma, Beeville Bee, Friday, 22 Oct 1903: After a long and painful illness, which sufferer bore with a martyr fortitude and comforted by a faith which she had professed at an early age and in which she had been an eager worker, Miss Ola Esma LUTTS, at the age of nineteen, second . daughter of Mr. & Mrs. A. F. Lutts, breathed her last on Monday morning the 19th, conscious almost to the moment of dissolution and breathing out with her young tender words of affection and solace for the friends who surrounded her. Before her burial on Tuesday morning, short and simple services were held at the home by Rev. L. E. Selfridge of the Presbyterian Church, in absence of the pastor of the Baptist church of which Miss Lutts was a member. Friends and family followed the remains to its final resting-place in the new cemetery.
