Jep Malone, eldest child of T. J. R. Malone, who has been ill with pneumonia at his home at Salt Creek, died 
last Friday evening at 7 p.m. The remains were interred in the Mineral cemetery at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. 

This bright young lad had endeared himself to the hearts of his many friends and all are sad at parting from 
him. He was sixteen years old. He leaves behind him several brothers and sisters and his grief stricken 
parents.
