MILLER, Albert L., Beeville Bee, Friday, 24 Oct 1902: Albert L. MILLER, a well-known resident of Beeville, died last Friday morning after a lingering illness from catarrh of the stomach. The deceased was in his 54th year, and had been a resident of Beeville since 1888, and of this section since 1850, when his father, James T. Miller, one of Stephen Austin's colonists, moved from the Austin colony from what is now Washington county to that point. Here Mr. Miller grew to manhood and afterwards moved to Goliad, where in 1873 he married Miss Mary E. FRANKLIN, who died in 1880, leaving one son, C. F. Miller, a most exemplary young man now in business at Mathis. The funeral of the deceased occurred on Saturday, the interment being in the old cemetery by numerous friends and relatives.
