Ernest MILLER Killed. Well known citizen of Mathis killed by his own partners in Mexico.

News reached Beeville yesterday through a telegram relayed by phone from Mathis to a 
brother of the deceased, that Ernest Miller had been shot and killed in the vicinity of Durango 
Mexico on Wednesday. No particulars beyond that the killing was done by one of the Barse 
brothers with whom he was a partner in the owner shop of some timber lands in the state of 
Durango, and it is presumed the killing grew out of a dispute or management of property.

Mr. Miller was well known in Beeville where he was a frequent visitor. The paper of Fri. 
May 7, 1909, on front page, gives a detailed account of the killing of E. E. Miller in Mexico.
