McDONALD, C. H., Beeville Bee, Friday, 8 Aug 1902:

Mr. C. H. McDONALD died at the home of his son-in-law, J. A. McCULLOM, last Saturday 
and was buried in the Lebanon cemetery with Masonic honors on Sunday evening. 

The deceased was a native of Scotland and in the 82nd year of his age, and had been a 
settler in this section more than 50 years ago, leaving here just before the war to return to 
his old vocation, the sea. He had visited many parts of the world and had an eventful career.
