McMASTERS, Mrs. Ben, Beeville Bee, Friday, 3 Jul 1903: Skidmore Texas It is with sadness that we report the two deaths, which occurred, in our vicinity last week. The first was that of Mrs. Ben McMASTERS, living near town. She had been sick for about one month, when on last Thursday night death relieved her. She was buried in the Papalote cemetery Friday morning. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. GREGYORZEK, who lived near Papalote. The other death was that of Miss Hattie EICHBLATT. While on a visit with friends to Alice, Texas, about one month she was taken sick but later was moved home and all that loving hands and medical aid could do seemed of no avail. Blood poison set in and on Tuesday night she passed on to the great beyond. Her remains were laid to rest Saturday evening in the Peoples cemetery near town. Miss Hattie was a young lady well liked and leaves many friends besides a father, mother and several sisters and brothers.
