McNEIL, Marvin, Beevile Bee, Friday, 13 Feb 1903: Marvin, the 17 yr. old son of the late Capt. T. P. McNEIL, living with his mother at Dinero, died last Sunday evening as the results of injuries received while practicing with the lariat on the evening of the proceeding Thursday. The young man had run up on a cow and was in the act of casting his rope when the animal suddenly turned aside from its course, in doing so caused a collision with his horse throwing the latter and precipitating the rider on his head with such force as to cause a blood clot to settle on his brain from a violent concussion.
