POTTER, Mrs. Ellen A., Beeville Bee, Friday, 10 Jan 1905:

Mrs. Ellen A. POTTER, the aged mother of Mrs. W. O. POTTER, died last Saturday morning 
at the advanced age of 76 years. The deceased was a native of the state of Florida, but 
removed when a girl to Alabama with her parents and where she resided until for years ago 
when she came to Beeville to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and 
Mrs. W. 0. Potter. Her first husband was named CLANCY, to whom she bore the four children 
who survive her, her last husband being the father of the late W. O. Potter, Beeville. 

The surviving children are Mrs. W. O. Potter, Beeville, Mrs. C. B. ARCHER, San Antonio, 
Mrs. L B. FINNIGAN, Montgomery Alabama, and J. S. CLANCY of Saint Louis, MO. The funeral 
took place Sunday morning at the new cemetery.
