REES, Errol Fleming, Beeville Bee-Picayune, Thursday, 25 Jul 1963: Errol REES Dies Tuesday - Services Conducted Today. Errol Fleming Rees, 70, a sixty-three year resident of Beeville, died Tuesday, July 23, at his residence after a brief illness. He was born in Yoakum, Texas, June 15, 1893. His parents were Asa Fleming and Sophia Moser Rees. Mr. Rees had lived in Beeville since 1900 or since he was seven years old. He attended the local schools and was a member of the Catholic Church. Mr. Rees was a veteran of the US Army in WW I. Rosary was recited at 8 pm Wednesday at the Galloway Funeral Chapel. Funeral Services were conducted at 9:30 o'clock this Thursday morning at St. Joseph's Church with Rev. Monsignor Harold Palmer officiating, internment was in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Wayne Koepsel, Gerald Luther, Beecher Baker, George Rayburn, Harry McKinney, and Stafford Rees. Survivors include two sisters; Mrs. A. B. Taylor, of Corpus Christi and Mrs. Alvin Brauer of Jacksonville, Florida.
