Neal Rix Killed
Neal Rix, a resident of Kenedy, was shot and killed on Friday night about ten o'clock in 
Roy Thompson's restaurant.  Justice Jack ws called to hold an inquest, and found that 
he had received four wounds, one in the left hand and three in the abdomen.  His pistol 
was found in his hand. (words missing) surrendered to Sheriff Wilson and acknowledged 
the shooting.  Saturday he waived examination and his bond was fixed at $5000 which 
he readily gave.  

The body of Rix was shipped to Kenedy on Saturday for interment.
