ROBERTS, James, Beeville Bee, Friday, 22 Oct 1903:

James ROBERTS, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Roberts at Pettus, died Tuesday 
morning from malaria, from which he had been suffering several weeks. 

The deceased was in his 33rd year and a native of the county. He was a man of sterling 
integrity and his untimely death is regretted by a large circle of friends and acquaintances.
