Sidney A. SMITH, the 17 year old son of Mr. & Mrs. L. M. SMITH, of Mineral died at the residence of 
his uncle, W. M. Smith in this city Saturday morning after an illness of a year or more. 

Some weeks ago the young man was brought here for medical treatments (at) which time he underwent 
two severe operations for cancer, none of which proved effectual. 

The funeral took place Saturday, interment being in old cemetery.
