STOVALL, W. A., Beeville Bee or Picayune, Thursday. 12 Mar 1914: W. A. Stovall, Dead. W. A. Stovall, age 53 years, died at him home in Austwell at 3 a. m. Tuesday, March 10, after an illness extending over several months, but which had been acute but a few days. Kidney disease and heart trouble were the contributing cause of his death and he suffered great pain. He was a brother of H. J. Stovall and Mrs. N. B. Walker, of this city and M. A. Stovall, Gregory. He had moved to Austwell from Coleman County but a short while ago, hoping the change would benefit his impaired health. He is survived by a wife and seven children and three grandchildren. The remains were laid to rest at Austwell yesterday. Mrs. Walker attended the funeral, having gone through to Austwell with her brother in a car Saturday night when word was relayed that he was so ill. H. J. Stovall had to return before his brother passed away and was not present at the funeral. Friends of the sorrowing relatives offer deepest sympathy in this hour of grief.
