TRUXAW, Mrs. Amanda C., Beeville Bee or Picayune, Monday, 15 Jul 1974: Mrs. Amanda C. TRUXAW Funeral Services for Amanda C. Truxaw, 80, who died at 6:30 a. m. Sunday in a local nursing home after a lengthy illness, will be conducted at 6:30 p. m. today in Galloway's and Son's Chapel with the Rev. John D. Berkley, officiating, interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leroy Magill, John Zimmer, Al Sandol, Donnie Morris, Charles Wesson and Pat Martin. Mrs. Sue Elwood will be at the organ. The daughter of John T. and Lula Williams Hare, Mrs. Truxaw was married July 3, 1911 in Crosby. She was a forty-five year resident in Beeville, a housewife and a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving is one son, William M. Truxaw, Jr. of Beeville, Mrs. Annie Mae Gray of Beeville; one sister, Mrs. J. Y. Oberpriller, of Crosby: one brother, Otis Hare of Baytown and four grandchildren.
