VIVON, Mrs., Beeville Bee, Friday, 14 Mar 1902:

The remains of Mrs. VIVON, an aged resident of Cardin Springs, passed through Beeville on Monday en route 
to Goliad for interment. 

The deceased was in her 91st year and she and her husband were among the earliest American settlers in the 
vicinity of the present town of Goliad. It was her dying wish that she be buried in the family cemetery near their old 
home, which was erected a few miles east of Goliad in 1850. 

In her death a strange coincidence occurred. Some time ago she predicted she would die on the anniversary of 
the death of her husband, who had preceded her many years before. She not only died on that day but within two 
hours of the time that he had died.
