ROBERTSON, Walter M., Beeville Bee, 22 Mar 1895:

The Bee inadvertently failed last week to note the death of Mr. Walter M. Robertson, the aged 
father of Jas. Robertson, a well-known butcher.  His death occurred at the family residence in 
the city on the 9th inst. the funeral occurring the following day.  The deceased was in the 81st 
year of his age at the time of his death, having been born in the historical city of Edinburg, 
Scotland, Feb. 15, 1815.  

He came to America in an early day, settling first at New Orleans, from which point he came 
to Texas in the 1850’s.
